The Death of Google Adwords
October 31, 2007 by Big Jason
The Death of Google Adwords PPC is a report by former Google employee, Simon Leung.
If you use pay per click ( PPC ), this is a report you have to read.
Simon is the leader in his field having basically run parts of the Google Adwords ppc program previously. Why he wasn’t on The Next Internet Millionaire is beyond me.
Go read The Death of Google Adwords right now.

Jason,
Why wasn’t Simon on NIM? Maybe Joel tipped him off that he’d be eliminated early (like you and Laura) because Internet experience/skills is a disqualifier for advancing into the final rounds. Can’t have the contestant take any credit. Joel wants to mold a newbie into a success story. I’m just surprised that the last round hasn’t come down to two rocks competing that Joel found in the parking lot…probably because the rocks would have more Internet marketing qualifications than the “aspiring actress” and better people skills than the rebel without a clue.

Anyone even going around with the picture of creating an AdWords campaign should read Simon’s Leung “The Death of Google Adwords” before they get started.
hey michael,
i was referring to the fact that he would be the perfect expert teacher for ppc.

Adwords is not dead, and if you saw the news today, Google had a 30% increase in their revenue stream. Thanks primarily to Adwords. I believe also that Adwords PPC is still one of the fastest ways to increase traffic and increase your business. It’s not easy to learn, but is well worth the time and effort.
