Internet Marketing Legal Secrets Revealed by Michael Young

November 6, 2007 by Big Jason

Internet Marketing Legal Secrets Revealed is an amazing book about how to legally operate your business from Michael Young, J.D., LL.M.

It discusses how millionaires protect themselves online and how we can too.

I have actually read this book and would encourage you to cover your bases by reading it as well.

I'm not the only one who appreciates it.  Here is what Mark Joyner of Simpleology thinks.

"If you've ever tried to navigate the complex legal landscape of the net and ended up on a deserted island (or in jail), this dumbed down guide will be your life preserver."

Michael and I are actually having a free teleseminar to discuss the following.

1. What law applies to international Internet sales?

2. What should you do if you're blacklisted by an ISP for spamming even if you've obeyed the law?

3. What type of claims can you make in your web pages about products or services?

4. What should you do if someone clones your website and starts to compete against you?

5. How should you handle someone re-selling your stuff on eBay for cheaper than its original price?

6. Are there any restrictions on who you can sell to on the Internet?

7. What's the most important thing to include in an e-mail signature line?

8. What's the best way to stay out of court if there's a dispute with a buyer?

9. What's your liability for the actions of your affiliates?

10. Are there any states that are particularly tough to do business in for Internet  transactions?

Why don't you join us and ask some questions?

see you on the call,

Thanks for telling me about this book. Since “ignorance is no excuse” under the law, it’s better to be safe than sorry. I’ve already been banned from a couple of sites when I did absolutely nothing wrong.

Seems that social networking is different on every social networking site.

It’s definitely time for this ‘dummie’ to learn to be more self-protective. No one else is gonna do it for me!
