Why 4 out of 5 of Internet Marketers Will Soon Be Extinct

By Big Jason On March 30, 2009 No Comments

Stable Monthly Income!

What do all the marketers that have been around for years have in common?

Continuity, recurring monthly income. They almost never talk about it but they all have it.

Ryan Deiss is the undisputed king of continuity. From newsletters, to CD of the Month clubs to his favorite membership sites. Ryan has built more “income stream” web businesses than anybody.

Go watch this free video right now that shows exactly how Ryan does what he does. I think you’ll be impressed.

P.S. Have pen and paper for a lot of note taking. Tons of valuable but free content.

How to Make More Money from Blogging

By Big Jason On March 29, 2009 2 Comments

Jack Humphrey, the blogging and blog SEO guy, has just released another video on how to make more money blogging.

If you were around when he released the Authority Black Book and remember the entire web buzzing
about it, well, this is going to be just like that!

Why he’s giving away this trick, I don’t know. Jack has always been stingy before this. I’m totally just kidding.

Most bloggers aren’t making a dime. They are loading their sites with ads, affiliate links, and even getting traffic.

But making nothing or very little. And that’s the #1 complaint most bloggers have – they just can’t
break the profit barrier with their blogs.

Jack’s on a mission to change that for thousands of people this year, starting with this video.

Watch this pure content video and you’ll immediately want to put it to work on your blog
and cash in.

If you’re

Do You Hate Video Only Salesletters?

By Big Jason On March 27, 2009 5 Comments

Tellman Knudson is the latest in a trend of marketers using video only salesletters for his free giveaway of The 13th Module training.

There is no text below the video nor are there any controls on the video other than pause.

What if you have problems viewing the video? You’re out of luck buddy.

I actually had this problem with a recent launch. I couldn’t even view more than the first second of the video, and I actually wanted to see what the offer was. I looked for an option to see the actual salesletter if there were problems viewing the video, but there was no option other than to leave.

Mike Filsaime used a video salesletter for Free Butterfly Marketing 2.0 launch, but he had an Add to Cart button next to it and “supporting” text beneath it. Other than a few pauses, the video played

Ditching MarketingSherpa Email Summit Event for Hooters

By Big Jason On March 21, 2009 No Comments

This past Monday night was the 2009 MarketingSherpa Email Summit (#emailsummit) gala at Bongos Cuban Cafe, but Brian McElroy persuaded me to go to Hooters instead. This was our last night to work on my copy for Better Email Deliverability Guaranteed, so we needed someplace open late and quick.

Watch the video below with some musings about the email summit and comedy alike.

Subscribe to my blog for an upcoming interview with Lyris, the email service provider Brian switched to from a low end autoresponder service.

Interview with Bronto Email Marketing at Sherpa Email Summit

By Big Jason On March 20, 2009 No Comments

I interviewed DJ Waldow of Bronto Email Marketing at the 4th annual MarketingSherpa Email Summit in Miami this week. I wanted to get the low down on what Bronto had to offer after Jeremy Schoemaker, Shoemoney, made about a post switching to them from a lower end email service provider.

Here is the video interview.

I haven’t used Bronto myself, but the features I saw from their demo were pretty slick from a marketing perspective.

Thanks to DJ Waldow for taking the time to do the interview.

Are Flip Video Cameras Stupid?

By Big Jason On March 19, 2009 6 Comments

While I was at the MarketingSherpa Email Summit in Miami, a representative from a vendor told me that my flip video camera was “stupid”. Not only that but they didn’t want to do an interview about an upcoming feature of theirs that is way cool. I was telling my friend about it, and he was beside himself. Hopefully I can tell you more soon. It is really killer.

So I did a little video to ponder the importance of having a flip video camera not only for you but especially for MarketingExperiments and MarketingSherpa who should have a minimum 50 video testimonials for their optimization workshop certification courses.

So what do you think? Could having a tiny little flip camera help your marketing? Comment below and let me
